Bluesound Node 2i (original box, owner's manual, all accessories)
- Rating 9/10, no fading of color which has become more common on the used market these days. Kid-free and smoke-free environment.
MHDT Paradisea+ NOS DAC (no original box, no manual)
- Rating 7/10. Fully functional. Front lights work as they should with no fading to communicate connection status of inputs.
- OPAMP modification includes the OPA2228P, which will be in the unit. Original OPAMP LM4562 will also be included. No soldering needed. Tweezers to gently pry and replace. Buyer can provide further support if needed.
- Power cord included.
- L wrench will be provided to remove cover.
- "IMHO swapping the OPAMP in the Paradisea can make an even more dramatic change than swapping out tubes."
- In regards to the original OPAMP LM4562 "this is the original OPAMP that shipped with my Paradisea+ DAC. For my system, and specifically, what I like my Grado RS1's to sound like, this OPAMP is my least favorite so far. It's just too sharp and edgy to sync well with my headphones and amp. It's very detailed but sort of cold and clinical sounding. Others online love this OPAMP, though, so please check it out and decide for yourself."
- In regards to the OPAMP228P "I tried this OPAMP at the suggestion of another user at Audio Circle and loved it. It's a fine medium point between the LM4562's sort of sterile sound and the very rich sound of the OPA2604 and it's much livelier and rich than the 4562. It sounds spot on for me (at the moment)."
