I bought this unit from an Agoner many years back as my first entry into affordable tube amps. Since then I have had one other ST70 that was modified by a well know restorer and just recently settled on my existing amp, which is also a 35watt EL34 design. This amp has a nice chrome chassis and walnut accent. New binding posts, RCAs, Driver board, caps,etc. Took it out of storage last week, checked the bias and ran it for an afternoon, all good, quiet. This has a silky, fat tone. Very listenable. Price is very fair, no lowballers please. Extra set of output tubes are included since I now run 6CA7s
