Audio Note (UK) OTO SE Phono Signature

The unit is listed as 8/10 only due to my being the second owner to comply with the site rules but cosmetically its a 9 - 9+.  I can not see any marks nor defects other than the usual light brassing on the knobs. I’ve never polished them.

The Oto SE makes beautiful music and comes with the following tube sets:

A. A quad of NOS Amperex EL84 tubes branded Zenith, made in Holland. 

B. A new, unused, Matched Quad of Sovtek EL84 tubes.

C. NOS Brimar E83cc tubes pair

D. NOS 1970's Mazda (Made by Brimar) Ecc82. 

All of the above were purchased New or NOS and based on recommendations on Audio Note specific forums. The sound is absolutely beautiful!

Full disclosure: I have not messed with the Oto’s MM phono stage tubes since in my home it was hooked up to an Audio Note Kits DAC2.1 Signature in a Digital only system.

NOTE:  I have asked a friend to come by on the weekend since he has a spare turntable. We will connect to the Oto to verify the phono stage since there have been a few questions about it. Stay tuned and thank you.
