The Beatles ~ White Album ~ 1968 UK MONO FIRST PRESSING ~ No 'EMI' On Labels

Cleaned on a VPI 16.5 using ‘Disc Doctor Miracle Record Cleaner’, followed with a distilled water rinse.  Separate brushes and vacuum wands are used for the cleaning and rinsing cycles.

[NOTE: No matter how many times I clean it, I still can't make 'Revolution 9' make sense.  lol]

Housed in a 4 mil outer sleeve, with the LPs in archival inners.

Play-tested on a Clearaudio Performance SE, with Satisfy Carbon tonearm and Sumiko Blue Point 3 Low cartridge (bonded elliptical stylus).

Condition: Goldmine ‘G+ to VG-’ all around

LPs:
1. These are among the first ones pressed, as they are missing the “An E.M.I. Recording” text from all labels.
2. Multiple hairlines throughout.  None are feel-able and NONE of them affect playback.
3. All four sides play through completely - NO JUMPS.  NO SKIPS.
4. ‘KT’ tax code on side 3.

About Playback:
1. Is there background noise? - Yes.
2. Is it the ‘bacon sizzling in the skillet’ type of noise? - NO!
3. What kind of noise is it? - Think ‘small campfire in the background’.  Nothing that louder tracks don’t easily cover.  Audible on quieter tracks, but still low.
4. With a more advanced stylus profile than mine - e.g., shibata, fine line, micro linear, etc. - the low level background noise could likely be reduced even further.
5. If it wasn't listenable, I wouldn't be selling it!

Outer Jacket, etc.:
1. Obvious wear along the spine.
2. No seam splits on outer jacket, but there are on the inner sleeves.
3. Various creases in the laminate.  None of it is peeling or lost.
4. The photos and poster are intact.  No tears, no pinholes.
6. No writing on the jacket, labels, photos or poster.
