Rare set of the Bow Technologies Wizard and Wazoo. Upgraded and refurbished by Lars Moltke, the CTO from Bow.
The CD player is equipped with the latest version of the 4-input DAC made for the ZZ-8 CD player based on the NOS (Non Over Sampling) technology and the vintage PCM1702 from Burr Brown. For sure this brings this CD player in the top 5 in the world of best sounding CD player. It has the following inputs:
- CD drive
- TOSLINK - Optial
- SPDIF RCA
- USB (XMOS) for streamer or computer playback
The amplifier is also tweaked and is updated the same way as the upgrade is done for the Bow ZZ-1 amplifier with changes of components like new output MOSFETs and Mundorf signal capacitors and all the input RCAs changed to better teflon isolated high-end gold types. It's made with one first C-core main transformators, a very big and heavy type with a very low impedance.
Together this set gives a very high end music performance and is inside to be considered as factory new inside and with one year of warranty.
