Here we have a nice early example of a classic Garrard 401 turntable. It has the desriable flush strobe and twin spark suppressors. Previously the turntable has been serviced by Peter Soper of Slate Audio who were well known restorers of these turntables but ceased trading some years ago. The turntable runs nicely on all speeds. It's configured for UK mains voltage but can easily be set to run on other worldwide voltages. A replacement pulley will be required if your mains voltage is 60hz. Cosmetic condition of the turntable is also good. The paintwork is in good orginal condition. There are a few minor marks. Please see the photos. An original owners manual comes with the turntable. It does not come with a platter mat.
