MBL 101E

I'll keep  this short and sweet
If you are reading this you know the following:- 
The MBL 101E's are Stereophile class A.
The MBL 101E's ARE "Halo" speakers. Not only for their remarkable omnidirectional sound but also their truly amazing Radialstrahler design There are no other speakers like these they are a true classic!
They were purchased a few years ago from Skyfi Audio a well-respected local audio dealer where they were fully serviced. You can see close-ups of the 101's in the link below

As you can see from the photos, these MBL's are in Excellent condition NO dents in the melons, No cracks in the rubber membrane,common problems with older MBL's ! No scratches in the automotive quality paintwork. The ONLY imperfection is a slight discoloration in the lacquer on the back side plates which I'm sure can be polished out. The discoloration is not noticeable from the front and from a few feet away they look new!

The 101E's Mark ll's now sell for $90k and have consistently increased in value over the years so the Mark l's used prices will only go up with the increase in Mark ll's price..so think of this purchase as an investment! Just like the right classic car. Speaking of which, the only reason why I'm selling them is to fund a restoration of a Jaguar E type! I also have 2 other sets of excellent speakers so these sadly need to go!
Market value for the 101's is this good of a condition is currently is $25-29K.( without crates)

Included  in the sale are a pair  6ft low inductance bi-wired speaker cables
