Dynavector DV-505 Tonearm – Original Japan Model w/ Cable, Headshell, VPI Armboard & Optional Grado Reference Cartridge

Offered for sale is my Dynavector DV-505, a legendary dual-pivot tonearm celebrated for its remarkable channel balance, micro-dynamic control, and smooth mechanical precision.
This is an original Japan-built version featuring the factory DV Dynamics badge, rarely seen on later releases — a true collector-grade example in outstanding condition. 
📌 Note: This is the rare DV-505 Mk1 with the factory internal anti-skate system (no external nylon-string weight). This early Japan-market version is significantly rarer and more desirable than the later export Mk2.

Condition:
Rated 9/10 Excellent. Bearings are silent and smooth with perfect cueing and anti-skate action.
Original factory calibration paint and alignment marks remain intact, confirming that the geometry has never been disturbed. Stored in a smoke-free, climate-controlled studio — never abused, never modified.

• Original Dynavector magnesium headshell (correct silver finish)

• Factory low-capacitance 5-pin DIN → RCA cable with replaceable ground lead

• Precision-machined VPI armboard custom-cut specifically for the DV-505 (ready for drop-in installation)

• Counterweights, arm base, and all mounting hardware as shown

• RCA contacts professionally cleaned and treated with ProGold G5 for optimal conductivity and noise-free playback (see photo).

Optional Add-On:
Available with Grado Reference wood-body cartridge in excellent condition (approx. XX hours of use). This combination delivers exceptional tonal warmth and synergy with the DV-505 design.
