Cardas Audio Golden Reference Biwire 2.5M Speaker Cables with Cardas Authenticity

Pair of Cardas Golden Reference speaker cables that are Biwire. 2.5M (8 foot 5 inches). SVS Sound article touts the sonic benefits of biwiring (reduces cable impedance by 50%, reduces intermodulation distortion). I heard noticeable differences in A/B tests so I'm a big believer of biwire. Even if you don't biwire, Cardas says you can tape up the treble legs and still get the major benefits of the Golden Reference cables. Golden Reference was Cardas' Top of the Line prior to the Clear series. The Golden Reference is famous for its rich, smooth and full bodied sound.

Cables are in excellent condition (see the photos) as it sat in storage for most of the time after I sold my stereo. Cables come with Cardas Authenticity documentation. All ends have 6mm (1/4 inch) spades in great condition.

MSRP is approximately $3750 for the non-biwire version (StereoNet 2017). The Biwire option cost an extra of about $300 to $400, making the total MSRP about $4,000.

The diameter is 0.7 inches. The gauge of each polarity of the cable is an astounding 3.5 AWG of Cardas copper as it uses 816 individual conductors (12 bundles of 68 conductors), 408 for each positive and negative leg. Capacitance is a mere 36.9pF per foot.
