ZU AUDIO / EVENT POWER CABLE [Mk.I]
Zu's top of the line power cable.
Zu Event power cable will offer better resolution, lowered system noise, improve harmonic structure, timbre, attack and stereophonic realism—helping to bringing a real sense of ease to your systems playback performance.
Not all but most audio gear does benefits from Event power cables: DACs, preamps, phono-stages and most amplifiers.
Zu Event Power [Mk.I] is designed as a universal needs, ultra-high performance AC mains cable for use on all home audio or pro audio equipment. Event Power cables compliant with: UL, IEEE, CSA, CE, BSI, JET, RoHS. They perform at the highest level without being obscenely expensive, and unlike most top-shelf cable offerings, Event is full of body, tone, texture, able to compliment your most real blood and guts music then turn around and illuminate to new levels your favorite jazz, electronica and orchestral recordings. If you are looking to improve your playback, and you are in love with the rest of your gear, consider Zu Event cables to take your rig to the next level of realism—a few steps closer to true presence of tone and nuance of detail.
Event Mk.I power cables are a combination of both silver and copper conductor—pure copper for the inner circuits, insulated in cross-linked polyethylene, and outer Teflon insulated circuits using silver and copper. Shielding is very heavy tin plated copper braid. They are also flexible and easy to work with, unlike many of our competitors fire hose cables that have less conductor area and way more fluff. Event, with its very high conductance, high magnitude shielding and ZuB3™ electrodynamics technology you are guaranteed the best possible isolation from RF and EMI. Know there are many variables relative to AC power, just one of which is your power cable and there are situations where a power cable will not improve fidelity.
We recommend that you trust your ears and experiment. Reasons for this include the design or condition of your equipment's power supply, gear grounding, system grounding, grid grounding, environment RF, above ground potentials, AC grid condition, and on it goes. Nevertheless, if the power cable does a good job of shunting noise to ground and has good properties relative to fundamental measures, it should sound good; and yes, we feel Zu Event Power Mk.I does these things better than any other competing power cable on the market.
