This delivers 250W x 2 into 8 ohm, doubling all the way to 1000W x 2 into 2 ohm. I am the original owner, purchased in 2003. It has been a dependable workhorse in my system, but I am losing my hearing and wish to simplify. I rated it at 9/10 because after careful examination I cannot see a mark or scratch (The mottling that shows in two of the photographs is due to a sheen reflecting in the lights). Actually, when my hearing started to fail in 2005, I only used it for music (1/4 of the time). With TV, listening only to the center channel was clearer for me.
