Laufer Teknik MP64-8 Full Player with DAC

This ad is for a Memory Player 64-8 with an interesting pedigree.  This unit was the review unit of Harry Pearson, Founder of the Absolute Sound, who at the time commented that it was the best digital player he had ever heard. This unit has Sonic Cap Platinum teflon capcitors, themselves retailing for over $2,000.   It has been used very lightly since Harry used it and is extremely musical, with great extension and yet immense liquidity, stage depth and layering.  It is all black except the faceplate which is silver.   
It includes our state of the art D2D DAC (first generation, outputting 24/192) which has an extremely short signal path and outputs to both XLR and RCA connections along with AES-EBU, SPDIF and USB digital outputs.  We will include our latest software which is a dramatic improvement over what even Harry experienced.  This player comes with 1TB of our patented defractionalized solid state playback.
