Melco N1A Mark 2 BLACK Audiophile Music Server latest model

Finally we have Mark II Melco Units in stock both N1A Mark II and N1ZH Mark II.
Original Melco N1A Mark One for $2000 is the least expensive Stereophile Class A+ Music Server. It was better sounding than another Stereophile Class A+ $7500 server.
Melco has this "undigital" sound, which makes sense as Melco uses to make Turntables long time ago. Also Melco is owned by Buffalo Hard Drives - that means they have price advantage. So what you getting is a huge bang for the buck digital audio server.

Fast forward to today - Melco N1A Mark II is the improved version for only $500 more.
I have owned half a dozen music servers: Modified Mac Mini, Linux server, purpose built (better than CPAS) Windows media server etc. Melco bettered them all.   
It is super easy to use. You can use your smart phone or a tablet as a remote or control it from your Mac / PC. Melco is easily better sounding than purpose build computers or modified Mac Minis. Melco was built ground up as a music server.

N1A/2 is a development of the N1A to further improve sound quality especially for USB-DAC users. A dedicated Neutrik USB 2.0 port connects to the DAC for optimum sound quality. Internally there are many detailed improvements to further reduce internal noise including a new capacitor bank to isolate the medical grade power supply, a new higher current 3 pole IEC connector with true ground and a built in power supply noise filter. Newly selected HDD with vibration isolating cradles ensure a new low level of vibration combined with capacity increase. (EU 2 x 3TB = 6TB, USA 2TB x2 = 4TB). A front panel USB 3.0 port makes importing from USB stick or USB drive very convenient and is in addition to 3 rear USB 3.0 ports for Easy Backup, Easy Expansion, Easy Play and Easy import.
