Quad 2805 Loudspeakers Aluminum Trim with Black Grill

I am the original owner of these 2805's having purchased them from an authorized Quad dealer in June, 2010. They are in excellent cosmetic condition and perfect working condition. The 8/10 rating is because these speakers are now over 1.75 years old. There have been no modifications performed and no repairs performed. I am a long time Quad owner and have been careful not to overdrive these speakers. I have owned Quad 63's, 988's, 989's and have extensively auditioned the 2905 at dealers in addition to owning the 2805's. I consider that the 2805's are the most accurate, and best imaging of this series of Quads. In smaller to medium sized rooms these speakers are outstanding, and in terms of timbre, transparency, imaging and low level detail I doubt that there are any speakers which are better at less than 5-10 times my asking price and even then I am not sure what might be better. My asking price is less than the lowest recorded sale price on Audiogon for a pair of 2805's.
