Quad ESL 63 speakers Perfect Sonically And Physically

One pair of pre-USA monitor Quad ESL 63 speakers. Brown fabric with brown bases . Serial numbers are sequential 12,459 and 12,460. Speakers have been modified with binding posts instead of the junkie press down speaker connections that were originally supplied. Another modification has been performed which includes bypassing the nonpolar electrolytic capacitor with polystyrene capacitors. The speakers are in very nice condition overall except for some extremely minor scuffs on the edges on the wood end caps. Fabric is perfect with no holes anywhere however some scuffs are visible when viewed up close. Perfect sonically. A repair which included replacement of two electrostatic elements and tightening of dust covers was just performed which cost $1200. This pair of speakers sound great! No problems at all!
