Sonic Frontiers checks all the boxes: Extremely high quality designer parts within(Kimber, Noble, MIT, Solen...), heavy build with thick gauge aluminum, built-in bias meter on the back and a clean layout. I've owned much higher priced units that didn't look, sound or feel close to the quality of this piece.
Included original instruction manual with orgininal test sheet(birth certificate) from Sonic Frontiers.
A full 19" wide and 18" deep and 65lbs!
The unit can use EL34's, 6550's, 6CA7's,KT88, KT90, KT99a in the power tube positions. Currently has Svetlana EL34 that rated 71,72,72,75 on my Precision Tube Tester. The 12AT7 is a JAN Philips 89/89 and the two 12AU7 are Brimar and test 76/78, 72/75.
Perhaps by technicality -should- be a 7/10 (because it has 2 light scratches on either side) and missing a few screws just behind the face, but it is in such good condition otherwise that It feel much more like an 8/10. Please email me and ask for high resolution pictures and see what I mean.
