TRIODE LAB 2A3 CLASSIC SET Class A Power Amp

Upgrading, looking to sell this to finance a pair of 2A3 PP Monoblocks. I have went thru alot alot of 300B amp, and like all some expert saids, the 2A3 is a better sounding tube.

Here is a the entry amp (by means of entry, its still one of the best 2A3SET on the market!) , their Classic model 2A3SE, condition is like new. Their original 2A3SE's been around over 10 years, just not much people knew about this label as their products rarely seen on the used market - it has a good reason.

Here is what i ordered with:

- Tomiko Output Transformers ( Hand wounded in Japan with Z-1 High Quality Steels and to Triode Lab's spec)
- Hammond over-sized choke
- Upgraded Triode Lab PT-2A3 high quality power transformer constructed with military high grade M6 irons, as shown and used on their flagship orange pair of 2A3GT-FFX (It is better in every way to Hammond 302AX and James PT in terms of physical and operational noise, heat dissipation and most importantly the gain in power to Triode Lab's spec, to let the 2A3's potential max out, this power transformer is hand wounded in Canada). This is why the transformer cover on the power transformer side is not fully tighten down to chassis because this PT is bigger than the Hammond, you properly wouldn't tell though from the pictures.

- Thanks to the design of Triode Lab's "Uni-fy" Rectify stage. Most rectify tubes can be used (I personally recommend the famous GZ32 that makes the Quad II monoblocks world famous, I really think its the GZ32 tube lol), if you want power than 5U4 / 274B / GZ37, and if you need fewer power, 5Y3 / 5Z4 / GZ30 is recommended. 3-4 Watts output depends on rolling on rectify tubes. Otherwise, for 2nd choice, i recommend use of GZ34/5AR4.

This 3.5 - 4w amp will surprise you... one of the best 2A3 SET amps on the market! No hum and mechanical noise like some brand names...etc. Run silent and blackout sound-stage even they are heating it in AC!. Most other SET amps out there are heated by DC, which is quieter (alot of them still hums despite they run it in DC), but its the sound. AC sound much better than DC, like Analogue versus Digital. There is 3 years transferable warranty on labor left.
