Aragon 8008 BB

used Aragon 8008BB Balanced Dual Mono Amplifier. works great!  non-smoking household, no kids.

Power Output:

8 ohms-----200 watts per channel continuous power both channels driven.  5Hz-20KHz at less than 0.04% THD

4 ohms-----400 watts per channel continuous power both channels driven. 5Hz-20KHz.

very little use in the last 8 years, just occasional and not at high output .  This piece is from the Mondial Design era ( designed by Dan D agostino ) , they just don't make them this way any more, weighs in at 75 lbs. fantastic sound, runs in class A for the first watts and then class A/B. excellent with low ohms speakers.

This is the big brother of the lower priced 8008 ST ( class B in stereophile ).

 This is the 8008 BB model with two power transformers(not the one that the 8008ST has)  and twice/2X the capacitance as the 8008 ST model.

This model can be made to run at 230 Volts, 240 Volts, 120 Volts and 100 Volts.  It can be done from the outside of the amplifier by adding a different value fuse(value is listed on the back of the amplifier) and then positioning the insert above the fuse to read 230V, 240V, 120 or 100V.
