| Hi. Just wondering if this item is for me. I have Martin Logan Clarity's. ML recommends an amp 80-200 watts. Sensitivity is 89db. I have a Marantz 7701 Pre/Pro. My listening area is an alcove about 12ft long( a condo). Is it a waste of time and money to mix solid state and tubes? Is it powerful enough? Thx

I think you answered your own question. If your speaker recommends a minimum of 80 wpc then how would a 20 wpc amp be able to drive your speakers?

| I have been told that tube amp wattage is the equivalent of a much higher number in solid state, no? HI , that is true about tube amps to a degree. This amp might work for you. I looked up the specs of your speakers and here they are.
