Cary Audio Design V12r New Cryoset Tungsol 6550 power tubes and 4 Gold Lion kt77's

I love the V12r amps! Still one of the best values in used gear. Please research on line if you are not familiar with the V12r. Looks like new with the silkscreening and transformer decals in like new shape. Carnival red paint looks great too with 1 small .5" scratch which will take a while to find if you don't know where it is. Sounds fantastic with the Cryoset 6550 matched 12 power tubes putting out 63 watts triode and 125 watts UL. (Stock with el34 tube rating is 50/100 watts resp.) I found the Tungsol 6550 tubes more linear without giving up the el34 mi range greatness. Included are 4 Gold Lion kt77 tubes. This amp can run 4 or 12 power tubes if desired. A quick adjustment of the bias and you are ready to listen. It is a good way of trying out tubes before investing in a set of 12, or for running the amp cooler in the summer if desired. Also, you can switch from UL to triode for all or some of the tube pairs. Very versatile. This amp and all the new tubes were just checked out by Nick Gowen of True Sound in Campbell Ca. and given a clean bill of health.
I have owned a few of these amps over the years and just love the clean tube sound and the ability to drive any speaker, including Maggies. I Will ship with a second box over the Cary original box and properly package all tubes and send separately via USPS. Also possible availability of a matching slp98 p with all F1 upgrades including KimberKable phono and cd inputs. Thanks for looking!
