EKCO EV 55SE INTEGRATED AMP

This is a special integrated amp that rarely comes up for sale and for good reason.  I bought this amp from a fellow A'gon member 4 yrs ago.  He bought it new from a dealer and had it for 6 months.  I have really enjoyed the amps versatility--choose triode vs ultralinear and adjustable negative feedback.  So you have 4 choices in one amp--and I used them all depending on the music/speaker.  The transformers are massive.  The power transformer is hung from the bottom of the amp so it makes for a compact footprint.  If you look at the pounds/watts or pounds/ price ratio, it is a very high quality piece for the price.  The sound quality  is great and I have had ZERO issues with this amp.  Tubes are original but low mileage.  The only defects would be a very faint scratch to the back of the transformer cover and a smudge to the top of the faceplate.  This I suspect was do the vibration during shipping despite the velour protective bag it was in.  Both are only visible within 3-4 ft and only at a specific angle.  I can try to get a pic if you desire but hard to capture.  I will ship the with a wrap which will avoid this.

Not only does this unit sound great it is perhaps one of the best looking amps I have seen--even the tube cage looks so good I keep it on!

The EV55SE Valve Integrated amplifier is the first vintage tube
electronics product from EKCO. Designed as a Class AB Push-Pull
amplifier, the EV55SE offers a choice between 28Watts RMS per channel at
