Today we have an incredible piece of hardware that any one should covet and make a jump to own at this amazing price. Our V 40 Se integrated tube amplifier from Octave Audio has been a wonderful product, and we have kept extremely good care of it in the 6 months that we have owned it. This integrated amplifier carries 2 x 40 W of high current tube power, and is well-equipped to adeptly handle even the most power-hungry speakers.

Octave products are an absolute joy to own, as their expert engineering and ease of use make them an exceptional piece of hardware to have at the heart of your system. Never has tube maintenance been so easy, as the V 40 SE heats to playback level in about 30 seconds, has a safe-mode that keeps the tubes idle if they sit unpowered for a time period, and has an incredibly easy to use biasing interface which takes just a few seconds to ensure all tubes are operating at their optimal power flow.

The sound from any good tube amp is magical, but the Octave truly shines because of the tight control and deft low-end which was previously a weakness of vacuum tube designs. Thus, the V 40 SE has all of the rich, sweet, harmonic tubey-goodness we have come to crave, while also handling the most complex passages and lowest frequencies with ease. The best of both worlds and an amp that will give you those jaw-dropping moments every time you power it up.

The V 40 SE has multiple RCA inputs for your various media sources, and comes with all boxes, remotes, and literature, as well as being still under warranty from Octave. This model also comes with four 6550WE vacuum tubes from Sovtek. We are asking $3,290 OBO, which is 30% of the retail price of $4,700. This piece has not a single flaw, and is certainly a true 10/10 condition.

It's worth noting that Octave integrated amps can also be paired with their own aftermarket power supplies, like the Black Box - and the difference it makes is incredible. This offers a bit more headroom if you fall in love but want a little extra potency and clarity going forward.
