If you are a tube Audiophile then you know VAC is a leader in the industry. This ad is for one of VAC's newest offerings.
Up for your consideration is a Phi-170 that is barely broken in. I purchased it Aug 31 of this year.
I have decided to go in a different direction. I am hooked on Solid State. It uses the Gold Lion KT-88 power tubes but can operate with KT-90, KT-120 or KT-150.This amp is self biasing so there is no fuss with biasing. Input tubes are Tung Sol 6SN7. This amp has both Balanced and single ended inputs. It also has 2,4 and 8 ohm taps. It is rated at 85 watts per channel.
I will drive up to 200 miles to deliver with a substantial deposit.
This is a big loss to me but is necessary. Please read my feedback and buy with confidence.
