Selling my Wavac EC-300B amplifier. It is 1.5 years old. Considered to be the best 300B amplifier in the world. I have to sell it only because my speakers need more power. Or say, I listen louder than this amp can handle. It is in mint condition, comes with its original boxes. I will also include the GE NOS driver tubes that I currently use with it. The amp will be packed in its two boxes (original factory boxes) and shipped via Fedex/UPS. Approximate shipping charge with Insurance would be around $700. If it is less to the buyer's country I will reduce accordingly. I will accept Paypal (add 4%). Please note: It is a 220v unit, wired for 8 ohm speakers. If you would like to get the voltage changed or modify the output impedance to use 16 ohm speakers it can be done at the Wavac factory (Japan) See my feedback and buy with confidence.

Do you have any idea how much changing the voltage would cost at the factory and is the 16ohm speaker option the only one available?

This amp is wired for 8 ohms. However it works fabulously well with speakers that are 12 ohms impedance. I have heard it. If you specifically want it to be wired for 16 ohms then it has to be sent to the factory. Same for voltage conversion. The estimated amount is $2k including to and fro shipping to Japan.
