Basis 2000 w/ Vector 3 tonearm and transfiguration aria/cover

For sale is my Basis 2000 turntable, Basis Vector 3 tonearm, and Transfiguration Aria moving coil cartridge. Also included are the genuine Basis dust cover, and Basis weight.

I am the original owner of this setup. The stock table was purchased from Sound by Singer (NYC) in August 1998. In September 2007, it was upgraded by Earsnova High Fidelity (NYC) to include the Vector 3 arm, the Aria cartridge, Chordco (sp) cables, and the new Basis �superbelt�. In all about $7500 was invested including the dustcover.

In 2008-2009 the table was placed in climate controlled storage while we did a gut renovation of an old house for about 18 months.

The turntable gets about two hours a week of use, on average. I have the original receipts, warranties, and manuals for table and arm. No boxes. The dustcover has a few scratches, so call it a 6/10. I don�t see anything wrong anywhere else but no doubt someone will, so I�ll call the table and arm an 8/10. The table runs perfectly and sounds great.

I tend to keep equipment a long time so my Audiogon feedback is nine. However you can check my feedback on ebay under the same user name, which is currently 1340. I would not know how to ship this safely so I would prefer a buyer in the NY/NJ/CT area, unless you can tell me how to disassemble and ship safely.

I am willing to deliver the deck myself to a firm buyer in a 100 mile or so radius of NYC. You can see in Manhattan or Hicksville LI.
