Teres Audio 255 Turntable Model 255

Selling my mint condition Teres 255 turntable. I bought this brand new from Chris Sept of 2006. It is a rosewood veneer over purpleheart wood and has no dings or scratches. The platter is in excellent clear condition as well and has the lead shot for dampening. The clamp also is in great condition. The table has always been covered with a dust / lint free cloth and is in a smoke free house. The motor was sent back to Teres around 4 years ago and was upgraded. At that point point i bought the dedicated constant DC power supply. I found this to work as good as the battery if not better due to it being a true corrected source. It is set for the correct values for the best performance. The motor, supply and pickup work flawlessly. The table runs on the mylar belts, which i have a roll of including the etching compound and glue. I also have an Origin belt for it. The table really is perfect and works great, the only reason for selling is the upgrade bug has bitten me. The arm and cartridge are not included nor for sale. I have the original box for safe shipping but will need to find. Table come as you see it, the armboard is drilled for a Graham tonearm. Anything from a 1.5 to a current Phantom will fit it. I believe Teres still makes random parts and could make a new board if needed, or a local woodcrafter. Shipping is paid by buyer and I will ship UPS ground unless other arrangements are needed. I only charge actual cost of shipping so please check with me on a cost. I accept most forms of payment, but if you use PP you will have to cover the fee. Checks will need to clear. Im in CT and would be willing to drive and meet within reason. The table can be picked up and or seen as well in my home near New Haven.
