For sale - from my personal collection - the following blues LP titled:
1. "SUPER BLUES" (also "SUPERBLUES")
1981 pressing on Checker Records CK 3008, STEREO, made in USA. Plain paper inner sleeve. No bar code on back cover.
Album originally released 1967 as Checker LP 3008 (mono) and LPS 3008 (Stereo), different cover.
CONDITION:
- front cover is close to NM (having: bottom right corner slightly bumped; sawcut at bottom of opening)
- back cover is between Exc. to NM
- vinyl is NM both sides
Record was cleaned and tested, playing MINT.
PERSONNEL: Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, Little Walter.
8 tracks, studio recordings (Ter Mar Studios, Chicago, January 1967). Supervision by Phil and Marshall Chess. Superb classic blues rendered mostly in the Chicago style (also harmonica blues) showing Diddley, Waters and Walter performing together on these sessions for the first time. Album contains historic blues performances. A must-have blues LP. Highly recommended!
