I am the second owner of these great electrostats. They have a huge soundstage. The rails were the original oak. I painted the rails black. Not glossy, more of a semi gloss. Purchased from an authorized dealer. They are about 4 years old. Rated 7 of 10 due to small blemishes in paint not visible from seating position. Reason for selling: moving and downsizing otherwise I would keep them. They ship in one large factory original box that weighs approx. 170 lbs., box and both speakers included.
