Magnepan MMGi Mmm Mmm good

* I just noticed a minute imperfection on the grill cloth of the right speaker.  A small tuft in the fabric.  I’ve reduced the price by $25 to reflect that. 

I purchased this pair about...a month ago from a fellow member here on the site. Essentially they were NOS because it was still factory sealed, never been opened. 

THESE HAVE NOT BEEN REGISTERED.  

I’ve had them hooked up to a Belles 250i Integrated amp and the sonics are eye-opening to me still - even more so if you’ve never heard a Magnepan before.  Won me over the first time, and I’ve gone through the MG-III A, the .7, the 1.7, and the 1.7i since. This is my third pair of the MMG’s. 

Frequency response is 50hz-20khz - for some a little light on the low end, but with a good subwoofer like Rel you could easily make these rock. And dig this - you could do all that combined for under $1000.  There is no other loudspeaker from the big box stores that will even come close.  For voice and jazz these are truly remarkable loudspeakers. You’ll find yourself re-listening to your music collection, and you’ll find yourself listening to music genres you normally don’t.  

All packing materials, owners manual, carton. I saved EVERYTHING.  Aren’t even “broken in” yet. Consider them as new as possible.
