For sale - from my personal collection - the following LP by special mixt female-male Hawaiian band from the 70's LIZ DAMON'S ORIENT EXPRESS, titled:

sub-titled "AT THE GARDEN BAR, HILTON HAWAIIAN VILLAGE"

original 1970 pressing on White Whale Records MS 5003, STEREO, gatefold cover, made in USA. Album never reissued on vinyl format.

LIZ DAMON'S DEBUT ALBUM

CONDITION:
- factory SEALED (upper right corner slightly bumped)PERSONNEL: Liz Damon (lead vocals, leader, founder) with two female backup singers plus a rotating backup band (of 6 members featured on this album). Band active 1970-mid 80's with name "Orient Express" related to the Asian origin of all backup band members.

10 tracks, featuring band's biggest hit "1900 yesterday". Recorded live at The Garden Bar, Hilton Hawaiian Village. Music is a very interesting, special and pleasant pop vocal (melodic, sunshine styles) fused with occasional mellow rock elements and exotic rhythm flavor. Some sound similarities as in Association and Carpenters with vocal rendition reminiscing of Karen Carpenter (with different timbre). Fairly rare SEALED album, the second copy I've ever seen. Highly recommended!
